In response to devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey, General Mills is sending more than $500,000 in food donations from EPIC Provisions and other brands like Yoplait and Nature Valley to feed people who have been displaced. Additionally, we’re giving a grant and kicking off an employee matching program to the Red Cross to support victims of the tropical storm.
General Mills was the first company to deliver food to FareShare UK's new regional centre in Ipswich, East Anglia. We recently delivered Old El Paso and Nature Valley products as part of our ongoing partnership with the food rescue organization. Since 2013, we've donated 100 tonnes of surplus food, allowing FareShare to distribute around 250,000 meals.

Brice LeRoy, innovation product designer with General Mills’ Dairy group, grew up in Brittany in the western part of France. One of his childhood memories is watching his mom make traditional ‘pot set’ yogurt in the family’s kitchen. Brice was part of the team that brought a new category of yogurt to the U.S., inspired by that same traditional French style yogurt. Brice says, "I'm honored to be part of the team that breathed new life into this heritage Yoplait recipe, giving Americans something refreshingly new in the yogurt aisle."
