The Americans with Disabilities Act was designed to protect individuals with disabilities in all areas of life, and to ensure these individuals have the same rights and access as everyone else. Jaci King began her career in EMS, driven by a passion to help others in their darkest moments while using her ability to remain calm under pressure. Today, she helps others with this same passion find their place in EMS as a regional field recruiter for AMR operations throughout Western Washington and Oregon. Prior to her role as a recruiter, Jaci served as an EMT, field training officer, business development account executive, training manager, operations manager (Lifeguard Ambulance) and program manager (ComTrans and Access2Care). Jaci learned early on as an EMT the crucial skills of collaboration and teamwork, which are necessary to provide the highest level of care for each patient she served. Jaci has strengthened these skills throughout each step of her 14-year career with GMR. Her desire to learn and the values she holds dear continue to guide her today. She encourages those interested in a career in EMS to look to GMR and its expansive career paths. As a recruiter, Jaci proudly tells potential employees that no other EMS agency offers the room for growth and longevity that GMR does. Yesterday we had the great honor of hosting the National EMS Memorial Service at our headquarters in Lewisville, TX. “The Moving Honors procession is incredibly important to all of us at Global Medical Response,” said GMR President and CEO Nick Loporcaro. “Today’s ceremony gave our teams, industry colleagues and the community the chance to pay their respects and honor the ultimate sacrifice made by these 59 EMS first responders. As the procession continues its journey to Arlington, we hope that others will take the opportunity to pay tribute to these brave souls.” Safe travels to our National EMS Memorial Service Moving Honors team members, as they continue their journey to Arlington, VA! #MovingHonors2023 #NEMSMS2023 #WeekendofHonor
