Yesterday, H2M architects + engineers' Women's Leadership Employee Resource Group hosted "Go Pink" Day which included a company-wide-walk in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. All employee donations will be going to the nonprofit organization Pink Aid, whose mission is to help underserved breast cancer patients survive treatment with support and dignity, to provide screening and financial assistance to those in need, and to empower breast cancer survivors to heal by helping and inspiring others. It is #WHYILOVEH2M Wednesday! Today, we feature Meghan Spratt R.A.. Meghan is a Project Architect in our Parsippany, NJ Office. We asked Meghan how H2M has impacted her and she told us, "H2M reminds me to be a part of the community in all aspects of life." Meghan currently leads the outreach committee of H2M's Women's Leadership Employee Resource Group. With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Meghan organized several Breast Cancer Awareness events throughout the month. The Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an industry recognized credential for project managers. PMP demonstrates the experience, education, skill and competency required to lead and direct projects. This week, H2M architects + engineers held a graduation for our company wide mentorship program. 25 H2M mentors and mentees were paired in this 6-month long program. Each mentor/mentee were given training, encouraged to meet consistently and building trusting relationships where mentors provided guidance and advice to their mentee on a wide variety of topics both professional and personal. The mentors say they gained as much from this program as the mentees. H2M values investing in our young professionals and the success of this program is key to the growth and future of the firm.
