Last week we had 17 of our Project Engineers come to our corporate office in San Diego for a 2 day leadership training. This is part of our PE to PM training and development program. The Helix team is proud to have recently completed the LEED Gold certified Bioengineering Building at University of California, Santa Barbara! This critical project is considered to be the hub for the UCSB scientific community. The use of natural ventilation, daylighting, and active chilled beam technologies all support the ambitious goals of environmental responsibility. Helix is committed to supporting life sciences and engineering – it’s our hope that each project we build makes an impactful difference.
Helix Electric teamed up with Hensel Phelps Construction and Pan-Pacific Mechanical at the HUGS (Help, Understanding & Group Support) offices in Honolulu to provide four new quiet, energy-efficient split unit air conditioners, new LED lighting fixtures, dimmers and receptacles throughout the house. We held our LA Regional Safety Saturday this past weekend, where we had over 130 employees attend the event and earn different certifications related to safety.
We are so excited about the opening of The Wharf! This brand new "entertainment mecca" in D.C. features 24-acres filled with restaurants, music venues, shopping, housing, and even a park.
