A Florida Medicaid member who utilizes an electric wheelchair recently went on a routine appointment that ended with him being taken in an ambulance to the hospital. Florida Ombudsman Debra Logan then took matters in to her own hands when the member worried about how he'd get his electric chair back. With a few phone calls and organization, Debra was able to safely return the chair to it's owner! We love seeing our employees go above and beyond, thanks Debra!
