Fifteen years ago, MCM established its Consumer Bill of Rights, capturing the spirit of how our colleagues show up for the people they serve. The Consumer Bill of Rights was never just a document. It’s a reflection of how MCM thinks about the people we support – that they deserve dignity, empathy, and genuine respect, every single time. That belief lives in our colleagues. In every conversation and interaction, they show up for people in some of the most stressful moments of their lives with care, with patience, and with purpose. The world is always changing. Our commitment to treating people the right way doesn’t. See what MCM stands for: https://lnkd.in/gZ2fM3xn
Proud to share that Encore has once again been named one of Newsweek’s America’s Greatest Workplaces for Culture, Belonging, and Community—earning a 5‑star rating for the third year in a row. This recognition reflects what we build together: a culture where inclusion thrives, purpose drives us, and every voice matters. Though the award focuses on U.S. companies, it represents the voices and experiences of our people across the globe.
At Encore, we believe culture is not just what we say — it’s what we do, together. It’s how we show up for one another, live our values, and create a workplace where everyone feels they belong. Because of this shared commitment, Encore has been officially certified as a Great Place to Work® in Costa Rica, France, India, Ireland, Portugal, the United Kingdom, and the United States — a recognition based entirely on the voices of our people.
We’re honored to be named one of America’s Most Admired Companies by Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group! This recognition is a humbling illustration of how our Values are brought to life by our colleagues’ commitment to putting people first, working together, and making a positive difference. We’re proud of the culture we’re co-creating and thankful to see it shine through in this distinction -- along with previous honors from Newsweek naming us one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Inclusion & Diversity 2025 and America’s Greatest Workplaces in Financial Services 2025. Together, these honors celebrate not just what we’ve accomplished, but the culture we continue to build each and every day.
Our 2025 Economic Freedom Study is now live, offering updated insights into how adults in the U.S. and U.K. define and pursue Economic Freedom, along with a detailed look at consumer sentiment around debt, credit, and financial priorities in today’s economy. As we continue our mission of creating pathways to economic freedom, this study helps ground that work in the real experiences and perspectives of modern-day consumers.
At MCM, WeCare is more than a Value — it’s how we support our communities. When wildfires impacted Los Angeles, our San Diegan colleagues took action. Together, they donated nearly 600 pounds of food, water, and supplies to the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank for distribution to LA food banks. Colleagues also contributed to: 💙 Pasadena Humane, supporting displaced animals, 💚 and California Fire Foundation, aiding victims and firefighters. Extra special thanks to our colleagues who make our Values real every day.
🎉 We are proud to announce that Encore Capital Group is Great Place to Work-Certified™ in Costa Rica, France, India, Portugal, the United Kingdom and the United States! 🎉
On Tuesday, October 8 Encore's Corporate Litigation went and visited Junior Achievement of San Diego! They spent the afternoon at Finance Park, teaching kids the value of financial literacy, how to budget, and how to manage money in adulthood! Katelyn Whitty, Brittany Lederman, Nicolette Rozas, Matthew Rubba and Spencer Determan; thank you all so much living our value of We Care and taking time to positively impact the lives of so many young people earlier this week.
We're thrilled to celebrate our MCM India team for this esteemed recognition at the Corporate Social responsibility Summit & Awards! Their innovative payroll giving program and impactful water and biodiversity restoration project in the Aravalli Wastelands showcase our Values in action. #MCMImpact
