Leadership teams from Encore, MCM, Cabot, and Encore Advantage spent time during this year’s Global Strategy Summit giving back to the San Diego community. The group decorated surfboards for Urban Surf 4 Kids, an outreach organization that works to empower foster and at-risk youth through utilizing surf therapy and community service-based mentoring programs.
MCM, in India, recently concluded a two-day learning session with its leaders. The sessions, known internally as Synergy, encompass fireside chats with senior leaders, team building activities, annual performance discussions, success stories powered by cross-functional collaboration, and a deep dive into the company’s cultural fabric. Over the years, Synergy sessions have become synonymous with people development and empowerment.
Our commitment to diversity and inclusion starts with our people, and we set the tone for this inclusive environment at the top of our organization. Our Chief Information Officer at Encore Capital Group, Monique Dumais-Chrisope, was recently recognized for her efforts in her local community, Orange County (OC), for creating the first all-girl Boy Scout troop to register in OC. The troop has earned more than 140 merit badges in its first year. Congrats Monique!
MCM in India has been recognized among India's Best Workplaces in IT & IT-Business Process Management (BPM) 2019 by Great Place to Work. Of the more than 200 organizations applying for this distinction, only the top 75 organizations were identified as the Best in IT & IT-BPM through an objective and rigorous workplace culture assessment process. MCM takes great pride in this award. We are a company that believes in doing right by our people, and this recognition is an affirmation of our dedication.
MCM employees in San Diego recently served lunch at Serving Seniors, a nonprofit that provides programs and services to older adults living in poverty.
At MCM, we believe that regular engagement and participation with our #CSR partners helps us to build stronger communities where we live and operate. At MCM India, these relationships are leveraged to create a better future for our beneficiaries, the children at Rainbow Homes in Delhi. To this end, our leadership team recently visited Rainbow Homes to understand what more we can do to support them in their endeavors. Our Legal team planned an educational outing for the children and took them to watch a show at the local planetarium, a most rewarding experience!
Employees in San Diego prepared and served food at Father Joe's Villages to help the homeless in the community.
Recently, over 20 volunteers from MCM India, an Encore Capital Group company, volunteered at Rainbow Homes – a charity engaged in education and holistic care of orphaned and abandoned and / or rescued children – on different occasions. The volunteers mostly spent time engaging with the children and staff, creating awareness on health and hygiene, and distributing hygiene kits and other gifts like stationery much to the delight of the children.
