Exciting news for our Sault community! After careful planning, MyMichigan Medical Center Sault is set to embark on a significant renovation journey. With a generous investment of nearly $19 million, we’re modernizing our facilities to enhance patient experiences and ensure our hospital remains a trusted resource for the Eastern Upper Peninsula for years to come. Construction will begin in June and is expected to take place over several months. Central Michigan University's College of Medicine announced it has received two landmark philanthropic gifts from two of its health care partners, Covenant HealthCare and MyMichigan Health, in support of the College’s “Advancing Health Together” initiative. The two systems each pledged $40 million to support the development of a new medical education building in Saginaw, Michigan.
