Bravo to our amazing presenters Pamela Wheeler and Venida Fagan from NFP at the FARE HBCU career event! An amazing team telling their stories and continuing to show NFPs commitment to bringing diverse talent into our industry. #FARE #NFP #BetterTogether #FindingYourFitInFinancialServices #DEIB
The NFP Team represented by Kizmet Moore and Anthony Cannon had an awesome time at the National African American Insurance Association (NAAIA) event last week in Baltimore, MD!
Join NFP at a special recruiting and networking event from 5p-8p ET on Wed, Oct 19...presented by the Financial Alliance for Racial Equity (FARE).
NFP has been named a Best Place to Work in Insurance by Business Insurance for the sixth consecutive year!
As we continue to establish and promote systems and cultures of DEIB for everyone at NFP, we’re excited to keep expanding our Business Resource Groups. Our D-IS-Ability Resource Group at NFP was formed to showcase the extraordinary capabilities of the disabled community not only in the NFP workforce but also in the mainstream business environment. We hope to improve the visibility of those with disabilities to NFP by increasing the recruitment of these individuals and highlighting abilities rather than focusing on their disabilities.
Our own Alyssa Johnson has been awarded the Colleen Barrett Award for Administrative Excellence. This prestigious award recognizes leadership and outstanding contributions to both NFP and the administrative profession. Way to go, Alyssa!
Our Chairman and CEO, Doug Hammond, was recently in Austin, TX to participate in the first meeting of our refreshed Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) Advisory Board. Doug said, "In my conversations with advisory board members, it’s clear the group is focused on driving measurable results. They have different experiences and backgrounds but are aligned in their commitment to elevating our culture of #belonging. We always have more to learn and achieve, but we see the critical importance of DEIB for our culture and our business." We're all excited to see the impact of this group for our employees, clients and communities.
We're proud to integrate Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging into everything we do!
We’re proud to announce a $60,000 investment sponsorship of the Texas Empowerment Academy (TxEA). Our investment will help advance TxEA’s mission of providing students with a sound education in a nurturing and stable environment. It will also go toward the organization’s expansion from its two primary campuses in East Austin. “NFP believes in the principles of the Texas Empowerment Academy,” NFP SVP and Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer Pamela Wheeler said. “Our strategy for advancing diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging embraces investing in the communities where we work and live. TxEA’s values and mission align with our focus on building systems and cultures that empower progress.”
NFP supports the National African-American Insurance Association's mission to empower African-American insurance professionals and we are proud to partner with the NAAIA as an exhibitor at their 2022 Spring Career Fair on Tuesday, May 24.
