At Nike, we see it every day. Sport brings us together, pushes us forward and makes space for every voice on the team. This year, we recognize 100 years since Black History Month was first observed in 1926. BEN, Nike’s Black Employee Network, designed a powerful game plan that puts community and inclusion at the center. The “Road to BHM,” our 100-day countdown, turned everyday moments into meaningful connection. We celebrated with curated menus in partnership with Nike Food Services, laced up for a Nike Run Club Challenge, and took over LAHQ for a field day that felt like pure team energy. It all led to the main event: SNKRBALL, a celebration of Black culture, creativity and sport. Each moment was stitched with Nike culture and grounded in inclusion, reminding us that this is a place where every teammate can thrive. “Through BEN, Black History Month feels less like a moment and more like a continuation of community and care we build throughout the year,” says Janessa Henry, BEN Co-Chair and Jordan Brand Business Development and Brand Moments Principal. As the month ends, we celebrate the leaders, dreamers and doers who paved the way and commit to keep moving, so every athlete* sees their impact, their potential and their future reflected here.
