Patients got a chance to learn about state-of-the-art architecture, engineering and construction when the team from The Haskell Company came to visit Seacrest Studios. 👷♀️🚧 Haskell is responsible for constructing the new Orlando Health Children’s Pavilion, located across from our hospital and set to open in 2026. While on air, the Haskell team talked about what is involved in building the $160 million building and shared with patients and families animated models they could explore on their own. The Pavilion will bring together more than 30 pediatric specialties and services under one roof, enhancing physician collaboration, improving accessibility and streamlining kids' and parents' experiences. Overlooking downtown’s Lake Beauty Park on the Orlando Health campus, the six-story building will encompass 189,000 square feet of space dedicated to providing coordinated specialized care for children and families.
🏆 U.S. News & World Report just ranked Orlando Health among the nation’s Top 50 hospitals in two adult specialties! We’ve earned national Top 50 rankings in: 🔹 Cardiology, Heart and Vascular Surgery (for the third consecutive year) 🔹 Diabetes and Endocrinology (for the second consecutive year) These U.S. News honors bring us to seven Top 50-ranked programs, including the continuing pediatric recognitions at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies. In adult specialties, six other programs earned national notice from U.S. News for high-performing care, highlighting the depth and excellence of our clinical expertise. At the regional level, Orlando Health ranked high performing in 21 common adult procedures and conditions, including back surgery, hip replacement, colon cancer surgery and pneumonia.
Our excellence in emergency care was recognized with 2025 Lantern Awards for Orlando Health — Health Central Hospital and Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. 🏥✨ These hospitals join Orlando Health Orlando Regional Medical Center, Orlando Health Dr. P. Phillips Hospital and Orlando Health Lake Mary Hospital in earning this three-year distinction from the Emergency Nurses Association. This award honors an emergency department’s commitment to quality, safety, a healthy work environment and innovation in nursing practice and emergency care. Just announced: Today, Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute officially expands its Central Florida footprint to Florida's east and west coasts, connecting our communities to one of the state's leading orthopedic care networks. As part of the expansion, we welcome 26 physicians and 23 advanced providers from Florida’s east and west coasts to the institute, where they'll treat patients across every musculoskeletal specialty, including sports medicine. Physicians and leaders recently toured the construction site, getting a first look at the vision and progress behind this state-of-the-art facility that will serve the Pasco and Northern Hillsborough communities. Opening with 102 beds—and designed to expand to 300—the hospital will feature eight operating rooms, including high-tech hybrid suites, and a patient-first approach to care. 📍 3000 Wiregrass Ranch Blvd 🚨 Even more new hospitals and freestanding ERs are coming to Lutz, Lakeland and Polk County!
