On April 11, 2024, Orlando Health broke ground in Longwood on a new freestanding emergency room in City of Longwood, FL! The 11,900-square-foot facility will house 10 exam rooms, an imaging suite, a lab, and an ambulance bay "The new Orlando Health Emergency Room – Longwood represents our continued commitment to this community which we have been proudly serving for 40 years," says Shawn Molsberger, senior vice president of Orlando Health's northeast region and president of Orlando Health South Seminole Hospital. "Our goal is to continue to expand and enhance the types of healthcare services we provide to the Longwood community."
