On January 5th, PHMG’s North American staff came together at the Winter Wonderland event to celebrate another hugely successful year. We want to say a big thank you to everyone for digging deep and taking part in the Winter Wonderland raffle. Staff raised an incredible $2,342 for our new charities: SOS Children’s Villages Illinois, Mind, NAMI, Cancer Research and the Red Cross.
On Friday December 14th, we celebrated Christmas at our Alpine Adventure event – raising £2287 in our raffle. Huge thanks to Thorntons and The Midland Hotel for their prize contributions, and to every member of staff who donated.
On Saturday October 20th, a team from PHMG Chicago walked with survivors, caregivers and supporters of those affected by breast cancer to raise awareness and funds for the cause. Making up the miles across Soldier Field, they raised over $1,615 in aid of the American Cancer Society – contributing to life-changing research, support and treatments. Thank you to everyone that helped us achieve this fantastic fundraising effort.
30/09/2018 - Making a splash for charity This weekend, members of our Audio Branding and Client Services teams completed Adventure Dock – an aquatic obstacle course dominating Liverpool’s famous waterfront. The team dived head first into the challenge, taking on 50 inflatable elements and freezing-cold, jellyfish infested waters. And in return for their bravery, they raised over £700 for the PHMG Foundation.
15/09/2018 - Running the Gauntlet Bright and early this Saturday morning, our Data team braved themselves to take on the Gauntlet Games – a gladiatorial 5k with a difference. The course was packed with all manner of obstacles including the treacherous tunnels and the flume of doom, and PHMG’s brave participants overcame them all to make it to the finish line.
09/09/2018 - A great achievement This Sunday, almost 60,000 people crossed the finish line of the Great North Run – and among these brave participants was Audio Branding Consultant Alex Clarke. With spectators lining the streets, he completed the half marathon course in just over two hours, raising valuable funds for the PHMG Foundation in the process. Thank you to Alex for his hard work, and thank you to everyone who donated.
12/08/2018 - The Drop On Sunday August 12th, PHMG’s Marketing, Creative and Music & Voice teams all got lost in the name of charity when they took part in The Drop. Each team of four was blindfolded and driven to a separate mystery location – then had to race back to Manchester with no phone or money. Each team used their wits, ingenuity and charm to make their way home, and completed the challenge in the following times: Music & Voice: 57 minutes (Ramsbottom to Manchester) Creative: 1hr 40 mins (Mellor to Manchester) Marketing: 2 hours 13 minutes (Diggle to Manchester) Congratulations to the winning Music & Voice team – and a huge thank you goes to everyone along the way who donated, supported and gave lifts to our brave participants.
10/08/2018 - Tough Mudder PHMG’s Copy team headed to Heaton Park on Friday the 10th of August to face up to the brutal challenge of Tough Mudder 5K. With conditions fairly dry, they took on 10-foot walls, scramble nets, barbed wire commando crawls and the legendary Everest – working together to complete the tricky course in just over an hour, and raising hundreds for the PHMG Foundation. Congratulations to everyone who completed this test of endurance and teamwork, and many thanks to everyone who donated.
23/07/2018 - Biking for Charity On July 21st, members of our Client Services team completed the TransPennine bike ride in support of the PHMG Foundation. The 20km cycle started from Lymm, wound through beautiful and challenging countryside, to finish finally in Castlefield. A big congratulations to everyone who took part in this great achievement, and a special thanks to all those who donated.
