21/04/2018 - Climbing towards our total On Saturday April 21st, Claire Gill, James Fletcher and Claire Harris of the Credit Control team embarked on a brave ascent up mount Snowdon. Standing at 1,085 metres tall, the climb was a daunting prospect – but the trio rose to the challenge and made it to the peak. And in the process, they got us that bit closer to our £50,000 target.
On Sunday February 25th, Mark Williamson and Michael Nipper took on a huge challenge for the PHMG Foundation, when they completed the Christie Tower Run. Starting at the very bottom of the iconic Beetham Tower, the pair ran up all 798 steps of the Manchester landmark in a combined time of under 15 minutes – an incredible effort and a result that smashed their previous time from last year’s event. And in the process, they raised £4,160/$5,616 for The Christie Hospital and the PHMG Foundation’s four deserving charities. This figure is set to be doubled by the company, creating a staggering total of £8,320/$11,232.
Christmas is the perfect time to give something back, which is why we once again supported the Salvation Army with our Global Toy Appeal. PHMG staff in Manchester and Chicago filled both of our receptions with toys and made sure the most deserving of children receive a present this Christmas Day.
Every year, PHMG staff turn out in force to complete our festive fun-run, and 2017 was no exception. From Boston to Dallas, Manchester to Chicago, staff in eight global locations donned their red suits in the name of the PHMG Foundation, and raised an incredible £8,016.40 in the process. This money will go straight to worthy charities including The Salvation Army, the American Cancer Society and the Christie Hospital Charity – and we want to thank every single employee who took part.
On Saturday August 12th, our North American ABC Team conquered the Chicago Warrior Dash, a 5k race with a series of testing muddy challenges. From the Warrior Summit to the Fisherman’s Catch, the team completed all the obstacles thrown at them – and raised $635 for the Inspiration Corporation and the PHMG Foundation.
