Say hello to Rakhi, our VP of Sales Development. Rakhi is a strong advocate for women in tech sales, as it is an industry where women have historically been excluded. In light of this year’s International Women’s Day theme, Break The Bias, here are her top three tips on how to break into new fields: Apply for roles even if you think you don’t meet 100% of the qualifications. Having direct experience isn’t always necessary. It’s more important to translate the experience that you do have in a way that is relevant to the position. Take advantage of the qualities that make you unique. I have qualities that I don't often see, such as my ability to build trust, nurture relationships, display empathy, and listen. Show how you’ve used your unique qualities to your advantage. Demonstrate clear, measurable business results. Give clear examples of your impact and the value that you delivered, including relevant data points. Explore your next career with Procore.

Before you apply, do some research! Vidya, one of our Senior Tech Recruiters, is sharing her views on how to assess company culture as you navigate your career. 1. Determine first what matters to you. Create a criteria list of priorities, values, and work environments that are the best for you. 2. Talk to real people who work at companies you are interested in and ask them questions about what it’s like to work there. 3. Research online through social media, news, and review sites. When you have gathered all of the information you can compare the answers with your criteria list. Look for places where you align. This will help you find a company that has a culture you will do well in. Explore your next career with Procore. https://www.procore.com/jobs

Procore has been named one of @Glassdoor’s Best Places to Work in 2022! A big thank you to our employees for making Procore what it is today. “Culture has been a priority since the day we founded Procore roughly 20 years ago. As a founder, few things have made me more proud than the positive feedback and recognition we’ve received for the incredible culture our team has built together...And while this award may be U.S. focused, our culture is not. What I love is that no matter where you are in the world, if you step into an office, it feels like Procore.” Hear more from our Founder, President, and CEO, Tooey Courtemanche, in his blog post: https://proco.re/GlassdoorBPTW
