The Riot Games St. Louis office recently hosted their biggest family event EVER. More than 100 Rioters brought their families to 'Buffalo Fest' for a fun day of activities including an all-ages scavenger hunt and a large floor coloring book that will live in their office so families can continue to fill it in over time.
We created Dark Star Cho’Gath with Bryan, a League player who visited Riot in 2017 through our partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Bryan’s wish was “to meet the creators of Riot Games and create a skin with them!” In celebration of our collaboration with Bryan, from July 13 through August 10, 2018, players will be able to give back to their local communities with 100% of proceeds from Dark Star Cho’Gath skins, icons, emotes, and bundles going to GlobalGiving, our nonprofit partner. GlobalGiving will then distribute grant funding on a proportional basis from sales in participating regions to over 20 nonprofits around the world, with each organization receiving a minimum of $10,000 (USD).

The Riot Games St. Louis office was featured for their partnership with the Starkloff Disability Institute's Dream Big Summer Camp. During the camp, local students with disabilities participate in networking and professional development experiences. Through the program, students visited local businesses, met with employers and gained exposure to potential careers including Riot. Here's a news package where you can learn more about the event:
We founded Riot with the belief that a company of gamers, deeply committed to serving players, could deliver amazing game experiences. We believe that anyone with passion, vision, and perseverance can make a positive impact. As part of that ethos, we also believe that there are ways where we, as a company, can provide long-term value and positive impact to players, partners, Rioters, and the communities we serve. Check out our new Social Impact page to learn more about these efforts.
“Pride means acceptance for not only who you want to be, but who you are and the journey to get there.” We are proud to support Rioters on that journey, wherever the destination may be.
