‘Tis the season of giving + giving back: our team in León, Mexico has been collecting bottles, caps, and aluminum cans to benefit Alucca, a local nonprofit organization that helps children battling cancer as well as their families. Alucca turns recyclable items into cash, which is used to purchase medical equipment for these children. We began working with Alucca a couple years ago, and due to the success of these campaigns, our Employee Club in Mexico—in partnership with our Sustainable Design Committee—has decided to make this campaign a permanent endeavor. #SSOEmexico #SSOEcares

‘Tis the season of giving + giving back: a team of employees from our world headquarters in Toledo recently partnered with the United Way of Greater Toledo and Connecting Kids to Meals to pack take-home meals for local children affected by food insecurity to eat over Thanksgiving break. Connecting Kids to Meals is a nonprofit organization in Northwest Ohio that fights childhood hunger through its meal programs. In Lucas County alone, 40% of kids live in poverty and depend on school lunches to eat. Thanks to everyone in the community who volunteered during the week leading up to the holiday, 3,000 meal kits were built and given to children in need. #SSOEcares
