On Monday, our client Lucid Motors broke ground on the first phase of its new manufacturing plant in Casa Grande, Arizona. SSOE joined in on the celebration along with our contracting partner, Walbridge. We will serve as the architect and engineer of record for the 820,000 SF facility, currently designing Phase I of the four-phase master plan that includes a body shop and paint shop with general assembly, as well as a central utility building and auxiliary buildings for production of the Lucid Air, a luxury electric car with 400-mile range battery.
