SSOE Group featured in this YKK AP America Inc. release announcing the manufacturers’ $125 million facility expansion in Macon — “the Heart of Georgia.” Our firm was selected to provide architecture and engineering services, with our friends at JE Dunn Construction serving as general contractor. Our CEO, Vince DiPofi, is a Proud PE! A University of Toledo College of Engineering grad, Vince earned his degree in mechanical engineering in 1985 and became a Professional Engineer in Ohio five years later. Vince, who was named Young Engineer of the Year in 1991, was named Engineer of the Year by the Toledo Society of Professional Engineers earlier this year (alongside SSOE’s James Burtnett-Grigsby, another Proud PE, who was named Young Engineer of the Year). In conjunction with the United Way of Greater Toledo, we’ve partnered with The Arts Commission’s Young Artists at Work program to create a mural designed specifically for our Madison Avenue building—home of SSOE’s world headquarters. CEO Vince DiPofi shared, “By partnering with the United Way on this project, we’re showing how both organizations influence and impact people in the community.” The mural, thoughtfully designed and quickly taking shape, will be complete next week. #SSOEcares
