Sephora employees recently had the opportunity to listen to the exciting story of how one of our newest globally exclusive brands, Selfless by Hyram, was created. We want to thank Co-Founder, Hyram Yarbro and The INKEY List Co-Founders Mark Curry and Colette Laxton for sharing their journey to build the brand and how their organic relationshipâfueled by a love of skincareâis positively making an impact around the world. Over the next year, Selfless by Hyram targets to fund projects in over 60 communities by providing access to clean drinking water. Their goal is to help 35,000 people for over 50 years AND to protect 2,500 acres from deforestation storing over 370,000 tons of carbon. United through a shared set of values, Hyram and The INKEY List have partnered to bring a collection of effective and gentle skincare that has one mission, to spark social change one product at a time. #webelongtosomethingbeautiful #wearesephora #selflessbyhyram #inkeylist #sephoralife #savetheplanet #sustainability

One year ago, Sephora was proud to be the first major company to join Brooklyn-based retailer Aurora James on her 15 Percent Pledge. The Pledge is a challenge for retailers to dedicate 15% of their shelf space to products produced by Black-owned companies. Since then, 25 other large brands have joined on this initiative including Macyâs, The Gap, and West Elm. To commemorate its one-year anniversary, Sephoraâs Artemis Patrick, Global Chief Merchandising Officer and Aurora sat down with NPR to reflect on the growth of 15 Percent Pledge, and the future of beauty-representation in retail. We are thrilled to see more companies joining us in taking the Pledge!
