Welcome, Dean Malotte, Regional Manager of the Kansas City region. Dean Malotte joined Sunstates Security in 2023 with over 25 years of experience in law enforcement and physical security. He is a seasoned professional with the ability to multitask on complex projects while focusing on developing outstanding client and employee relations to continue maximizing positive business results. After Dean’s honorable discharge from the Army, he began his career working as a Corrections Officer, and through his dedication and hard work, he was promoted to Lieutenant. Following his 16 years in corrections, Dean transitioned to private security as a Security Officer, later working his way up to Director of Security. Dean continued his security career as a Security Service Manager, overseeing security operations at multiple sites. His responsibilities included personnel management, emergency management operations, and risk consultation. In our latest Veteran Salute, we introduced National Account Manager Fred Henss of Phoenix, Arizona. Fred served seven years in the US Navy as a hospital corpsman in a submarine, and although he only joined the Sunstates team in August, he’s done a phenomenal job.
