Our Jacksonville Division recently partnered with Builders Care to build a ramp for an amputee in the community. Team members involved in the project shared that they were grateful to have the opportunity to help, and hopeful that this will allow the couple to get back outside easily. We are proud of our Jacksonville Team for their compassion and dedication to making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.
Last week, team members from across the nation gathered in Atlanta, GA, for our annual Certified Coaches (CSC) Conference. Leaders from Sales, Construction, Warranty and Home Funding were instructed on ways to “support and serve” while making new connections, bonding with fellow coaches, and brainstorming new training ideas to engage our team members. We’re already counting down the days until next year’s conference!
Happy Valentine's Day! Today, we're excited to share a heartwarming story featuring two team members from our Denver Division. Community Sales Manager/CSC Stephanie Ehret and Senior Superintendent/CSC Zachary Rollins met while working together in a community in North Carolina. After a move to Colorado and three years of dating, the couple got married in November of 2023. The two find common ground in their shared passion for their work at Taylor Morrison. “One of the things that brought us together is our jobs. We love working for Taylor Morrison. We don’t turn it off when we get home because we love what we do so much. It’s nice to have that in common," said Stephanie.
Last year, our Texas Region Online Sales Managers Melissa Thompson and Erica Mouton completed our first-ever Online Sales Mentorship Program—designed to help our Online Sales Specialists and Associates grow and eventually transition into a new role. Through division visits, shadowing, conducting customer call reviews and setting and achieving appointment sales goals, the program helps team members gain valuable experience. We're excited to share that Erica is the program’s first graduate, and she has since been promoted to a manager! 🙌
To Build Joy in her community, Charlotte Senior Superintendent Hope MacRonald provided a carpentry class to Mooresville High School students. Equipped with funds from Taylor Morrison, she delivered a $1,000 donation for much-needed supplies and gave a presentation around what a career in construction looks like. Next up, Hope plans to coordinate a field trip for students to visit a Taylor Morrison jobsite. Additionally, she’s working with a trim company to gather material donations for the students to practice with. “It’s inspiring that this donation will help fuel a passion for a new generation of students,” Hope shared.
Each year, Taylor Morrison supports local causes through our annual giving program, Build Joy. Today, we’re sharing a story from Portland Architectural Manager Amy Russell. There’s nothing like surprising those who are less fortunate with toys and food to help make the holiday season extra special. That’s what Amy and team set out to accomplish. With a day dedicated to shopping for presents on childrens’ wish lists and purchasing food, Amy delivered these packages of love to families in need. Visit our Build Joy webpage below to learn more about the philanthropic projects taking place this year.
Nine years. That's how long we've been named America’s Most Trusted® Home Builder by Lifestory Research. Amidst a year dominated by marketplace turbulence and inflationary pressures, our continuous earning of consumers' trust stands as a proud testament to the tremendous people who make up our organization. “Today’s home-shoppers are craving reassurance, and rightfully so following an era of rising mortgage rates and limited housing supply, but having a deep understanding of your customers, building meaningful relationships from the start, and leading with empathy can withstand any market condition,” said our Chairman and CEO Sheryl Palmer.

9-year-old Grayson Roberts will eventually lose his eyesight, despite multiple surgeries and before that happens, he wants to see the world. Raising money through lemonade stands in his home state of California, our Community Sales Manager Molly Whalen Horner stumbled across his story on TikTok and instantly felt a connection, as she was born legally blind in her left eye. To Build Joy this holiday season, Molly invited Grayson and his family to her Airbnb to see the beautiful beaches of Siesta Key. While in town, Molly and the Sarasota Team recreated Grayson's special lemonade stand in the park within our Skye Ranch community, coordinated a boat outing, visit to the Kennedy Space Center, a plane ride courtesy of Community Sales Manager Ryan Hall, and plenty of beach time in Siesta Key for Grayson and his family. 🍋 ❤️ Check out the rest of his heartwarming story below.
In honor of #VeteransDay, we’re introducing you to two Taylor Morrison veterans with decorated military careers. Seattle Customer Service Representative II Mike Boudreau served nearly 40 years in the Air Force, where he participated in Desert Storm, the fall of the Soviet Union and Berlin Wall, and his unit was responsible for protecting the Northwest Area of the country following the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. Mike retired from the Oregon Air Guard two years ago, with the rank of Master Sergeant. “I wanted to join and do my part to serve the country,” Mike said. “I truly feel like that was my calling.” From airfare warcraft to boots on the ground, meet Tampa Superintendent Arthur Brantley who served as an Infantryman for nearly 22 years. His two biggest career highlights center around his role as a Platoon Sergeant in combat and earning a coveted Expert Infantryman Badge, which is a special skills badge. “There’s nothing better than being able to serve a cause greater than yourself,” Arthur said. To our Taylor Morrison veterans, thank you for your unwavering commitment to serve and safeguard our nation.
