Taylor Morrison Gives Team Members Funds to 'Build Joy' in Their Communities. For the sixth year, leading national homebuilder brings team members' philanthropic ideas to life.
Taylor Morrison is a national homebuilder and land developer with a whole lot of heart and the fearlessness to challenge the status quo. Whether we’re supporting our customers on the cusp of change to Make Moves, inspiring our team members to uphold our culture we affectionately call TMLiving and fulfill our promise to ‘Love the Customer,’ or innovating the homebuying experience into the very best it can be, it’s our people who fuel our passion for making Taylor Morrison the perfect place to call home.
For the fifth year in a row, we’re proud to share we’ve scored a spot as the only U.S. homebuilder on Bloomberg's Gender-Equality Index. The list recognizes companies dedicated to promoting gender equality in the workplace and scores companies based on things like pay and equal pay parity, anti-sexual harassment policies and external brand. "With Taylor Morrison not only excelling in women representation in the new-home construction industry, but also against the gender-equality index's global averages, it's clear we've made meaningful strides when it comes to the gender part of equality and inclusion in the workplace—but we can't stop there," said our Chairman and CEO Sheryl Palmer. "In 2023, we're committed to increasing the racial and ethnic makeup of our workforce, addressing gaps in representation and fostering an unmatched sense of inclusion within our industry." #ThisisTMLiving
Many of us have experienced or witnessed firsthand the hardships that coincide with cancer treatment, which is why we’re excited to announce our plans to build and donate an initial six fully furnished homes to Banner Health. The 16-home community will support Banner's Home Away from Home program that provides housing assistance to patients who travel great distances to visit their cancer treatment center.
Despite increasing interest rates and construction delays resulting from Hurricane Ian hitting during the final week of Q3, our team members successfully weathered the storm as evidenced by today’s earnings report. “I’d like to thank our homebuilding and mortgage teams across the country for another quarter of record performance despite the odds. They are laser focused on our year-end goals and actively working with our homebuyers in today’s challenging environment, and I am so appreciative of all of their efforts,” shared our Chairman and CEO, Sheryl Palmer. In commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of our team members, and to reduce some of the stigma around taking time off work, we recently rebranded our sick days to ‘Wellness Days.’ The new change represents an increased emphasis on mindfulness in our workplace. Everyone is entitled and encouraged to utilize these days when in need of a break—no explanation needed. Today and every day, we're prioritizing wellness! #ThisisTMLiving
