We are proud to share that our Dallas Team has once again joined forces with the Texas Ramp Project to make a positive impact in the community. Together, the teams installed three wheelchair ramps in the homes of community members in need. Our Division President, Tom Cawthon, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the opportunity to give back. “Community giving is very important to us as an organization. And to help especially the elderly, or the needy where the community needs it most is so important to us,” he said.
In honor of Monarch Butterfly migration season, our Orlando Team recently gathered for a sustainability-focused team bonding activity at our Parkside Community in Groveland, FL. The Land Development Team organized a day to learn about the environmental impact of butterfly gardens with the support of our partner, the National Wildlife Federation. During the event, the team planted five Monarch flower beds with the help of local landscaping companies. Thank you to our partners, Cherrylake, United Land Services and LifeSoils, who coordinated the landscaping design and provided thousands of dollars worth of labor and materials to prep the beds and retrofit the existing irrigation system.
Last week, our Phoenix Division and Corporate Team faced off in a competitive game of kickball. Phoenix emerged victorious with a final score of 18-5. But Corporate isn't giving up just yet—they're already planning their comeback for next year. Better watch out, Phoenix!
Taylor Morrison is working to address the persistent talent shortages in the homebuilding industry. In partnership with Building Talent Foundation, our Dallas Division recently hosted a four-day Building Talent Foundation Homebuilding Bootcamp for 15 recruits. The group toured model homes, job sites and the Design Studio. The workshop also included soft skills training, as our Director of DEIB, People Operations and Talent Acquisition, Roberto Lee, conducted mock interviews and provided tips to help with resume building. “This was such a rewarding and humbling experience," VP of Construction Scott Moore shared. “I was honored to speak to our 'Love the Customer' philosophy and drive home who we are: a company that builds dreams." #ThisisTMLiving
Bay Area Senior Superintendent II Angel Ayala recently celebrated 20 years at Taylor Morrison. And we can say, without a doubt, the organization would not be the same without him. “It has been a journey filled with immense pride, dedication and appreciation for the craft… All of my success would be impossible without my family and colleagues, who helped and continue to help mentor me along the way. And a huge shout-out to the subs, who build while we support, encourage and motivate them as best we can." 😇
Congratulations to our Taylor Morrison Home Funding Team for securing the No. 1 spot in the midsize business category of Orlando Sentinel's 'Top Workplaces' list! This marks seven consecutive years earning a coveted spot on the list but the first time taking home the highest honor. We're thrilled to see such an integral part of our business receive the recognition they deserve. “It’s always about our people! Being distinguished as a Top Workplace brings me immeasurable pride and is a direct reflection of our people-first philosophy. The significance of this honor lies in the special culture of family we’ve built and the recognition from our passionate and dedicated team members who make up Financial Services,” shared President of Taylor Morrison Home Funding, Tawn Kelley.
Earlier this week we broke ground on a project in partnership with the Banner Health Foundation, where we're building a community of cottage-style homes for cancer patients traveling long distances to receive care in Gilbert, AZ. Thoughtfully designed with private backyards, these 1,000 sq. ft homes borrow from the same floorplans incorporated in our Yardly built-to-rent communities. The finished homes will provide comfortable, safe, clean and temporary housing for patients in need, located adjacent to Banner MD Anderson, a leading cancer treatment center. See below for news coverage from the event and to learn more about this exciting project.

We’re starting the year off right having earned the title of America’s Most Trusted® Home Builder by Lifestory Research for the eighth year in a row—setting a new record for the longest-running Most Trusted winner. Given the historically high demand, supply-chain constraints, mortgage volatility and other inflationary pressures we operated in—this win feels especially meaningful. It demonstrates that our constant in a world of change is how we treat our people.
