"Over the early part of September, I was able to use Nature Fridays to extend my vacation to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Really an unforgettable trip. We saw a double rainbow over the Keweenaw Bay, hiked and camped at the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, watched bald eagles walk across the beach at sunrise, and spent hours next to a fire, playing cards, eating pasties. Roasting anything I could get my hands on. It was a great chance to get to explore my home state, get back in nature, rest and recharge with the people closest to me. I was happy to be able to use TNC's Nature Friday program to add a couple extra days to our trip-- for an 8 hour drive, every extra day makes a difference." ๐ฒ #NatureFriday #MomentsWithManny
