At Thomson Reuters, we're proud to celebrate the significance of Juneteenth - a day that commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States. Earlier this week, we hosted a Juneteenth Happy Hour to celebrate this important milestone. Teammates in our Ann Arbor office enjoyed jambalaya, smoked brisket, and blackened catfish. Attendees also had the opportunity to learn more about the resilience and courage of those who have paved the way for the current freedoms of Black Americans. Thank you to our Black Employee Network for putting together this inspiring session!

This past February, we were honored at the Equality 100 Award Reception for achieving a score of 100% on the 2023-2024 Corporate Equality Index by the Human Rights Campaign. The event included a thought-provoking panel discussion on how corporations can work across all business operations to advance the inclusion, safety, and empowerment of LGBTQ+ people within and outside their organizations. Our team members Christina, Director, Revenue Operations, and Arlyn, Digital News Director, proudly accepted our award alongside Kelley Robinson, President of the Human Rights Campaign. This distinction marks the 12th consecutive year Thomson Reuters has been celebrated as a Leader in LGBTQ+ Workplace Inclusion. We are proud, we are committed, and we will continue to champion a safe and inclusive workplace where LGBTQ+ colleagues, communities, and allies can thrive.
