Our award-winning Mercer Street store concept is going global with many of our boutiques around the world getting a refresh with design elements inspired by our award-winning New York City flagship. Exhibit A: our boutique at the Forum Shops in Las Vegas where we recently renovated the space, opening it up and infusing it with signature decorative details like a divan de milieuredone in vintage patchwork quilts. It is an exciting destination for our customers and for the local store team alike. “We love seeing the surprise and delight in our customers faces when they visit and it is a joy for our team to host them in this gorgeous space,” noted District Manager Angela Akoopie.
Recruiter Francesca Mauro is always looking for great additions to our Retail and Wholesale teams. Here she shares some of her best advice and experiences at our company. Best advice for job seekers at Tory Burch: Look for openings that not only match your previous experience but align with your passion. When you love what you do, you’ll shine. Three Qualities We Look for in Prospective Hires: Agility, Authenticity, Ambition When preparing for a job interview: Our shared purpose--empowering women--creates energy and momentum in our business. In an interview, don’t hesitate to tell us about your dreams and passion. We don’t just want to know what you’ve done, we want to know who you are. My best moment at Tory Burch so far: Every new hire has been an incredible moment. Playing a direct role in bringing so many amazing people onto #TeamTory makes my job the best in the world every day! Three words to describe what it’s like to work at Tory Burch right now: Electric, Optimistic, Gratifying
Jacqueline Vallejos, recruiter for Creative Services, Store Design & Construction, Finance and Legal, on why she loves being part of #TeamTory: “The environment here is truly unmatched. In addition to being a brand with a rich history and beautiful products, we have a unique position in the industry from a philanthropic perspective. The Tory Burch Foundation is an integral part of our company and I love that Tory is using her platform to provide women entrepreneurs with the tools and resources they need to grow their business. The team comradery is also incredible, and a testament to how valued each of us feels. Whether someone is fresh out of college or in a leadership role, we want everyone to come to the table with a point of view, knowing they have the ability to make an impact!”
To mark Women’s History Month we have been highlighting some of the entrepreneurs benefiting from the Tory Burch Foundation's programs and initiatives. Here we feature Christa Cotton whose participation in our Foundation’s annual Fellows program helped move the needle for her business, El Guapo, which offers high quality bitters, syrups, mixers and garnishes or, as Christa says, “We manufacture everything but the booze...” The Foundation Supported My Ambition by: Including me in their annual Fellows program. This experience gave me the community of ambitious female entrepreneurs I've always wanted and wasn't able to cultivate on my own. It also gave me the education, tools and confidence to go out and raise my $1.1 million seed series. Without this support, I would not have gone out and raised the money needed to build my dream to scale. The Impact: I tripled my yearly revenue and shattered the all-important seven figures in revenue benchmark during my fellowship year. What’s Next: We're currently building America's first bitters brewery in New Orleans.

Technology has been integral to our brand’s story since Tory launched with a boutique and e-commerce in 2004. Our new CTO Magali Muratore is now driving the company’s digital acceleration and here she shares some insights. What do fashion and digital have in common? Many engineers and architects I meet are surprised to discover that their skills are highly valued in this industry. In fact, fashion and digital have a lot in common. Both begin with a dream. It’s all about innovating, evolving and iterating to create something impactful. How do fashion brands win in the digital era? Data is key. Customers are increasingly engaging with brands through data-powered experiences like livestreaming and social. Platforms that cater to the digital customer experience, amplified by AI/ML, are critical to success in the evolving retail landscape. What’s in your innovation pipeline for 2022? Our focus is on further modernizing our platforms, leveraging our data analytics capabilities and continuing to foster an engineering culture to create a transformational customer experience.
