Nicholas Pence, our Senior Director of Product Supply Services, was recently featured in his hometown paper for his heroic military service. Nick is an Army veteran (former active duty) who has served in the National Guard for more than 15 years, including his 8 years with Under Armour. Managing active military service as a corporate leader is a delicate balance, and Nick is always on the go - often taking work calls while on military orders or in return. As co-chair of our VETS (Value Everyone Through Service) teammate resource group, Nick helps establish a community and support system for teammates across our brand. He's also played an integral role in expanding the group to be inclusive of additional service members, including Coast Guard, law enforcement, fire and EMS. We are so proud to have this hero on our sqUAd!

Happy Halloween from HQ! 🎃 Last week, Under Armour held a Fall Fest for teammates and their families in celebration of Halloween at our Baltimore HQ. An afternoon dedicated to fun, teammates were treated with a DJ, Trunk or Treat, Photo Booths, Pumpkin Decorating, Donuts and Cider, Piñatas, a Moon Bounce, Cornhole, and of course... candy and prizes! Last week Under Armour hosted our 3rd annual Global Data & Analytics Summit 🌐 📊 Throughout the three days, teammates from across our organization came together to inspire, create, showcase, and collaborate. The summit featured a Fireside Chat with executive leaders including our Chief People and Administrative Officer, Tchernavia Rocker, our Chief Technology Officer, Danny Miles and our Chief Consumer Officer, James Dausch as well as a panel dedicated to women in digital. We also hosted the inaugural UA Data Viz Competition where teammates showcased the innovative ways to convey complex data through visuals.
This week, teammates at our Global Headquarters had the opportunity to purchase samples, prototypes and unworn gear at our Future Sale. Through the lens of Under Armour core value 'Act Sustainably', our Teammate Resource Group, Green Machine, created this opportunity as a way to reduce waste on campus and at our Distribution Houses, while also supporting our charitable initiatives. All proceeds from the Future Sale will be used for sustainable initiatives in our local Baltimore community, as well as for UA’s Project Rampart initiative, a partnership designed to elevate the Baltimore City Public Schools student athlete experience and improve academic outcomes through the power of sport. Following the sale, any remaining product will be donated to UA partners Good Sports, Inc. and Leveling the Playing Field, Inc.

Stephen Curry was on campus at Baltimore HQ to visit with the team and host the Baltimore Showcase Live, which was a one-of-a-kind basketball experience at University of Maryland Baltimore County with special guests Will Barton, Nah'Shon 'Bones' Hyland, Jarace Walker and Brandon Jennings. On Friday, select teammates who joined our new Under Armour loyalty program - UA Rewards - were given the opportunity to experience an exclusive event at Topgolf with Stephen, alongside our CEO Stephanie Linnartz. #UnderArmour provides a unique 12-week internship experience that gives students the opportunity to work on meaningful projects while providing access to mentors, executive speakers, give-back programs, social activities and professional networking. Historically, our interns, called “Rookies”, completed their internship in person at Baltimore HQ or in one of our global offices. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Rookies now complete their internship in either a hybrid or virtual setting. Last week, #UA brought our Rookies to HQ for an opportunity to hear from our key leaders in person, meet teammates and their fellow Rookies, as well as participate in valuable networking and leadership building workshops, all while getting to experience our wonderful campus. An exciting week filled with lots of fun, we were so pleased to welcome them to Baltimore!
