Waste Connections was recently featured by Waste & Recycling Workers Week for our continued commitment to community impact and giving back. The feature highlights two of our most meaningful traditions: ⛳ The Waste Connections Golf Classic for Kids Now nearing its 18th year, this event continues to raise millions for children‑focused charities. 100% of all funds go directly to nonprofits, with Waste Connections covering all event costs. In 2025 alone, the tournament raised $2.6 million, contributing to nearly $15 million raised to date. 🚲 The Annual Holiday Bike Build What began in 2001 with just 16 bikes has grown into a North America‑wide movement spanning 171 locations. In 2024, our employees, vendors, and partners built 10,581 bikes, pushing our all‑time total to more than 100,000 bikes donated to children in need. These programs are a reflection of who we are - a company powered by people who care deeply about the communities we serve. We’re proud of this recognition and even prouder of the employees, partners, and volunteers who make our culture of giving possible. ❤️
What an incredible day capturing how our Waste Connections culture comes to life! 🚛 From celebrating wins to sharing best practices across North America, our People First culture keeps us connected no matter the distance.
