Proud moment! The Waste Connections Women's Network recently made two meaningful contributions to incredible organizations. These organizations in Charlotte, NC, are dedicated to supporting breast cancer patients and survivors. ππͺ They were selected BEFORE the devastating storms that recently hit North Carolina. These ladies were so THANKFUL, sharing that they haven't been able to hold events and fundraise as they typically would because of the damage caused in their community. πΈ We're grateful for the opportunity to stand with these organizations, helping them continue their life-changing work. Together, let's continue raising awareness and supporting those who need it most! #WasteConnectionsCares #BreastCancerAwareness #CommunitySupport #WasteConnections #StrongerTogether
We want to thank Denise Stamper, in Fife, WA, by naming her our next Waste Connections Woman of Waste. Her coworker said, "She shares her knowledge, tips, and tricks daily with a smile on her face. She gives back more than she takes in everything that she does, and we are so blessed to have her on our team. If there is a problem, you can bet she will solve it. There are just not enough words to express how special she is." Thank you for everything you do, Denise!
These precious moments of our drivers spreading love to their little fans never fail to warm our hearts! We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ty Ware in Knoxville, TN, for his exceptional kindness towards his customers. This simple act meant everything to this lovely family.
Waste Connections will officially be in Times Square in late September! We would love to see your photos under our banner. Use the hashtag #WCTimesSquare, and we will repost you to our stories over the next few weeks.
Our Waste Connections team painted the new Activities Center at BridgeWay Shelter. These photos also show the cool WC signage around the campus! Michele from YES to YOUTH said, "We are so appreciative of all the support and love that Waste Connections shares with YES to YOUTH and all the other nonprofit groups in our community. You all have set the standard for Community Partners (really high, too). Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the continued support and partnership!!" Way to go, team!
We officially opened our PFAS Water Treatment Plant on August 6th, in Maryland Heights, Missouri! βοΈ Our PFAS Plant is the first of its kind to incorporate foaming technology as a way to remove PFAS from liquid. Thank you to all who came: City of Maryland Heights Government Mayor Mike Moeller, MDNR, St. Louis County Health Department, MSD, and ECT2, of course. It was a great turnout, and ECT2's own David Chandler gave tours inside the plant. This PFAS Plant is another step Waste Connections has taken to ensure the health and protection of the community and environment. π
