The Tyler, located in East Haven, CT, has received a 2021 Historic Rehabilitation Award from the Novogradac Journal of Tax Credits. This adaptive reuse of an 83-year-old school, into mixed-income apartments for seniors will be recognized at the upcoming Novogradac 2021 Historic Tax Credit Conference, Oct. 7-8, in Chicago.

Mary Ellen McCormack was originally built 83 years ago as the first public housing project in Massachusetts.

LGBTQIA+ Pride Month is celebrated each year in the month of June to honor the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan. The Stonewall Uprising is remembered as a catalyst for the Gay Liberation Movement in the United States. Today, LGBTQIA+ Pride Month celebrations across the country include pride parades, picnics, parties, workshops, symposia, and concerts. Memorials are also held for members of the community who have lost their lives to HIV/AIDs and hate crimes.
