Today we launched ten ‘Building Instructions for a Better World’. Wrapped in the playful style of a LEGO® building instruction booklet, we’re amplifying the voices of +6,000 young people across the globe and urging decision-makers at the COP26 - UN Climate Change Conference to take note of children's views on addressing climate change. The ten building instructions were developed through Build the Change, which is our flagship Learning through Play program for sustainability education. Together with Save the Children and The LEGO Foundation, we’ve helped bring more play to the kindergarten curriculum in Yunnan, China ❤️ The project is part of a three-year, US$ 2.3 million partnership with Save the Children in China. It aims to improve access to quality Learning through Play for children aged 3-6 in the predominantly rural Yunnan Province, where the quality of preschool education has been falling behind when compared with that of urban areas. This project is one of many contributions to the progress we have made on our sustainability journey in the first half-year of 2021.
