Our #Engineers star in their own, new, global Twitter campaign. Kicking off with Senior Engineering Manager, Nicole 🌟 New Zealander Nicole, played with LEGO® bricks as a child and was drawn (across the planet) to fulfill her dream of experiencing a passion for #Engineering and playfulness in London. And now she is in front of the camera as part of our new campaign to encourage many more to join the conversation 💭 and get excited about engineering the future of play. #LEGOEngineering #DigitalTransformation #BehindTheBricks #LEGOteam

We’re so pleased that our CMO Julia Goldin is one of Forbes World’s Most Influential CMOs for 2021 👏
What does the next generation know about circular economy and how can we best empower them in this transition? These are some of the questions that Jennifer DuBuisson and some of our colleagues have investigated in our recent Circular Economy Youth Study with more than 6,000 youths across the world. Here are some insights: ♻️ Nearly 50% of children think about the environment at least once a week, with global warming as their predominant concern. ♻️ Only 12% of children know what a circular economy means. Recycling and reuse are more familiar concepts to 66% of children. ♻️ 90% of children reported parents as the main influencer on climate attitude. Yet children that had learned about sustainability concepts in school were more hopeful overall – and teachers are instrumental in this discussion.
Play well! 🤩 Our annual LEGO® Play Day is all about connecting, building and enjoying the power of play together with colleagues. We’ve asked some of them to share their favourite #LEGOPlayDay2021 moments. Fun fact: the LEGO brand name, created in 1932, is based on the Danish term, 'Leg Godt', meaning ‘play well’, and reflects our deep commitment to inspire and develop children through play.
“I’m extremely proud of our fantastic team who, despite all challenges and uncertainties over the past six months, worked extraordinarily hard to bring play to more families around the world. Our biggest motivation at the LEGO Group is knowing we can have a positive impact on future generations.” Niels B. Christiansen, CEO of the LEGO Group. Read more →

This year, colleagues from across LEGO entities were also invited to join the party.
Every year 25% of our profits go to The LEGO Foundation to be reinvested in activities that allow us to impact more children with Learning-through-Play. In this episode of Our LEGO® Stories, we find out what the LEGO Foundation does to help autistic children build social communication skills, develop friendships and improve wellbeing – all with the use of Learning-through-Play and LEGO bricks. #ourLEGOstories #LEGOpodcast #LearningthroughPlay #PlayIncluded
Thank you to awesome LEGO® colleagues that have recently participated as volunteers at #WorldPride2021 in Copenhagen and helped us celebrate that #EveryoneIsAweome! ❤️🌈 “Social justice is important to me and it’s important to know that I’m working with other people that also care. So that we’re not only doing that work in the products we design, but we can also come and do it in the community together,” says Emily Schoenfelder, Sr. Designer and one of the volunteers. #EveryoneIsAweome #LEGOTeam
