Good bonuses, but I just felt like they weren't enough for how hard you had to work to get them.

The Best thing about the performance bonus with American Income is that It is all up to me. I have the chance to either make a $50 bonus in a week or a $2,000 bonus in a week. There is no cap. There was a representative in another state that made a $30,000 bonus in a week!!

American Income has performance based bonus all the time. When you hit certain sales goals you automatically will get a bonus on top of your salary which is amazing.

There are bonuses every week, if you hit the sales goal over $4000 you are able to get a bonus. Money will be taken away when customers cancel their policy so you will owe them money because they take back the commission they loaned you.

Based on your sales, you will receive an X amount of bonus dollars for the week. It's great because it's another incentive, but also not so great because it encourages you to make unethical sales to reach your goal.

The bonuses can be decent but you really have to perform to get them.

It's a small percentage of what you make in ALP only.

The performance bonus is having to sell at least $1,000 in Annualized Life Premiums (ALP) per week and you'll get $200 bonus. The problem is that if you sell any health insurance plans (Accident or Cancer) they do NOT give you any ALP for those plans, only Life Premiums. Also with the average ALP per sale being only about $300 (my estimate), you will have to sell at least 4 plans to break that $1,000 for the bonus. With that bonus you would make about $600 for that week with a $1,200 ALP week. Probably would take you about 60 hours of working (phone calls, driving and appointments) with at least 8 appointments and 8 no-shows (16 set appointments). So if you don't mind making $10 per hour and paying for all of your gas and wear and tear on your car, then maybe you will like this job.

It's not horrible. If you aren't used to making much money I guess it would be fine.
