Training is like a week and they expect you to learn absolutely everything in that time.

I felt as though my managers/supervisors were not very involved with developing me. They knew my training "goals" and upcoming milestones, but continued to assign me to washing dishes. I had recently graduated from graduate school and clearly could handle "challenges," but I was treated more like a pain.

They expect you to memorize a lot of company details that really aren't necessary to do your job. The hands on training is good, but the time expectations are ridiculous. Some people are better trainers than others, & several "star" employees told me they couldn't meet the time requirements for their tasks without cutting corners & cheating when the bosses aren't around.

training was watching videos. I learned on spot and had some of my coworkers help me with food serving size and other small things.

I was already trained as a chef and although it was just chipotle i treated it with upmost care and respect for my own code of conduct in the kitchen and passed down that knowledge to all of my cooks.

Job training for part timers goes far too fast and on a "round robin" style training. Focus more on learning each skill instead of brief experience.
