"I did not receive any special job training through CTG. It was, however, due to the fact that I had taken the initiative to refresh my computer skills that I was hired by Bayer CropScience."

Having it available to all employee types was a great offering. Price for health benefits was comparable to other like companies.

Benefits are average, compared to other contracting companies in the area, They are somewhat on the expensive side

They absolutely screw you as a contractor if you need pay for dependent healthcare. literally the cost of having 2 kids on the healthcare is $1500/month for health insurance. This is more than half your paycheck. And because the individual rate is so low, you won't qualify for the credit if you go through the affordable care site. No matching on 401k, no real option for health insurance if you have dependents (does not cover spouse), terrible vacation package.

CTG originally did 401K matching, however that was taken away. Saving for retirement is a struggle when you can only put in 30.00/bi-weekly

It's fine, although I was sorry to lose the 401(k) match. Health plan is good and premiums are reasonable.

Somewhat expensive medical insurance monthly premiums that keep increasing year after year.. CTG stopped matching 401k contributions in 2017. CTG does not always match the contracting company's paid holidays, so contractors had to use up their own vacation days to make up for those days.

Thank you for your feedback regarding our benefits. We understand insurance costs are an important piece of employees’ compensation. CTG works diligently with our insurance brokers and vendors to keep employee costs as low as possible. While we have experienced some premium increases, we’re pleased that the 2019 increase to employees is below the projected average market increase across the US. We conduct an annual comprehensive analysis of our benefits plans and costs to ensure we’re providing ample coverage, at a competitive cost, that meets our employees’ needs.
You’re correct that CTG suspended 401(k) matching contributions in 2017. As with our insurance plans, CTG continues to look for ways to improve our overall employee benefits package and in early 2018, we issued lump sum 401(k) company contributions to employees actively contributing to the 401(k).
You’re also correct that the CTG holiday schedule may differ from our client’s holiday schedule. For that reason, CTG provides salaried employees with variable holidays in addition to fixed holidays. Variable holidays are intended to help employees cover holidays a client is closed but CTG is not.
We hope this response provides clarification to your benefits concerns.
