"I did not receive any special job training through CTG. It was, however, due to the fact that I had taken the initiative to refresh my computer skills that I was hired by Bayer CropScience."

Melbourne Software Shop was nice and small, so it was really nice but then again it was small so that created too many personal issues

They provide most of it according to the current company standards

They offer a few salary packages with varying rates and benefits, so more benefits means a lower salary. Almost everyone I worked with was nice and helpful, but there were a few benefits (like sick time) my recruiter didn't really detail. Overall, the people are helpful and laidback and I recommend working with them, but none of the benefits I was offered stood apart from other companies' packages. If you have health insurance through a spouse or other coverage, consider going for the higher salary. But once you commit to a salary/benefits package, you're stuck with it for the rest of your contract.

If I could give CTG a zero-star rating, I would. I know people working part-time at retail positions who receive much better benefits. Technically, they do offer benefits, however, they are very expensive. There are no discounts given.

The 401k matching is not as high as some other companies in the area where I was a contractor. I was not given additional PTO for each year I worked for them.

Health Insurance, vacation and 401Ks are all pretty standard. For someone like me who doesn't go to the doctor a lot, the benefits package works well, but it on the more expensive side for what I use. I'd rather have than not, though. We get two weeks PTO during the year as well as sick leave, overtime, etc. Being able to work from home once a week is also a plus.
