The worst thing about the insurance is that you have to shell out almost 5k before you see any benefits from it

Does not allow for physicals or checkups. Costs more than it is worth unless major problem happens.

You get it because it is mandatory, not so great

Dish had a quality Health Insurance program no better or worse at the time for the Call Center Industry.

Dish offers one health insurance which is high deductible and covers almost nothing until the deductible is met.

Expensive for a family and high deductible

Too much per pay period for such horrible coverage. Very high deductable, high biweekly premium. Makes you forget you're working for a company that employs tens of thousands and spends $400 million every now and then to send satellites into space.

The bare minimum they are required by law to provide. Really quite terrible considering the company's size profitability.

Rumor has it that the plan does not include a mental health benefit. Mental health services are covered through the EAP. With the ACA, I have a feeling this will be changing soon.
