While the coverage doesn't cost much, it also doesn't offer much. You have to spend a very significant amount out of pocket for family coverage before the insurance begins to cover most things. When you consider this amount in relation to your salary, it's like taking a serious pay cut. In terms of access, you can go almost anywhere--which is nice--but the cost it just too much. This is my only true complaint about working for DISH Network. If they improved their health insurance I would be 100% happy to be working here.
