Getting the right trainer is the key to success with Dollar Tree. Learn all that you can when training to become successful at your job.

Store Management training does not encompass the full store experience. They limit the training to processes and administrative. This works well for internal promotion Store Manager Candidates however it limits the external candidates knowledge of the total store experience.

Management is great, training is fun, you get the chance to find your own groove without someone breathing down your neck, flexible schedule, great benefits, motivational encouragement.

Supposed to have cross training in all job sections working for the company, not true

Trying to learn a new system. With each job the computers that they use are very different even though they do the same thing.

learned a lot by asking questions and doing things on my own

very interactive, they make you take multiple on line classes and they give on hands training.

Not enough time to train external hires.
