You are given time and resources to be trained for each role.

As some people have said in previous reviews, there was very little in-depth training. Training was very quick and too short. They just show you online videos and slideshows. The videos only show you the basics about clothes and how to interact with customers, but they do not show you the basic functions of how to use a cash register. I feel that you have to teach yourself. They only trained me a few minutes on the register and just threw me in the fire. A co-manager would give an attitude you ask for help or make mistakes even though I was hardly trained. Lack of instruction and expects you to just know everything. Ridiculous.

You watch only video training to learn the brand, management was rude when I needed to retake the quiz. Overall really poor management, the wrong people are the managers at Express. Once you complete the online training, then you are ready to be taught on more brand knowledge on the floor.

I only received a one-day training. It was not much of an experience! I preferred if I had a manager help me whenever I needed help. Good thing I relied on my coworkers to help me get around.

Training is usually quick. They bring you in one day really early and you learn about the different shirt fits, and pants, and how to best sell to the customers.

it is very hands on and fairly easy to follow. Not that hard especially if you are a quick learner. You just have to show the trainer that you can do it. keep practicing.
