Job Training

The best way to describe training would probably be to learn as you go. There really isn't any active training, and it seems as though you get thrown on the sales floor and they hope for the best. You're really relying on the kindness of your co-workers and if you don't have either...then you're screwed. It's perfectly fine for someone who is quick on their feet and can pick up things quickly.

Job training was not in depth. Most of the training was self learned through the many years I had been with the company.

There was only one computer for the training courses and you rarely had time to complete them.

They give you a computer program to complete and it only teaches you basics about the clothing and how to interact with customers. It does not teach you much about utilizing the computer for transactions, or how to apply discounts or do returns.

you do training online and then on the sales floor they let you do your thing and then provide feedback

You get the GUEST selling model, but a little more mentoring could be better.

Mostly Videos, and 2 days of hands on training

I felt moderately prepared for my role.

it's hit or miss depending on the store manager

Awesome, you have to try on certain items in the store so you understand the fit.
