-Recently restructured on my program to start at 3 weeks vacation + PTO.
-Some requirements of using PTO (vs vacation) are arbitrary and hard to get a clear answer on from your HR partner.
-Option to sell some vacation each year for cash might be attractive to some.
-Vacation carries over from year to year to a maximum 'bank' of 10 weeks.

Pretty decent starting out at around 3 weeks and increasing after 15 (!) years of service. The 9/80 work schedule is delightful and the holiday shutdown from xmas through New Year's is appreciated.

3 weeks with sliding scale up to 4 weeks depending on years of service (over 10 years) capped at carrying 400 hours. Sick time replaced in 2018 with 40 hours paid time off (PTO). Good luck getting permission to use any.

There is no documented amount of sick time, yet if you need it and use it; you are reprimanded. It’s almost a contest between the managers as to whose department can use the least amount of sick time.

Generous PTO. As long as you have a good manager you can take a lot of vacation each year.

Some holidays are worked throughout the year in order to compensate for the annual week long shutdown between Christmas and New years.
