You started at 2 weeks vacation and 1 week of personal leave. After 3 years they bumped you up to 3 weeks of vacation. After 15 years you would be given a 4th week of vacation. The personal leave stayed at one week per year. We received 10 paid holidays. Only 5 of them were on fixed dates; the other 5 were floaters you could take at any time.

You earn PTO as you work each month! You can see your PTO bank increase at the start of each month. Vacation days can be taken or you can work those days and use that day as a floating holiday anytime else!

Having been with LM for 15 years, I get 120 hours vacation per year. We can carry over unused vacation up to 400 hours, then it becomes use-it-or- lose-it after that. We work a 9/80 schedule, meaning one week we work 9-9-9-9-8 (40 + 4 hours) and defer the + 4 hours into the next week, so that week is 9-9-9-9-OFF (36 + 4 ). So every other weekend is a 3-day weekend although program requirements can over-ride that. At our work location we don't take some Gov't holidays , saving them up to take during the week between Christmas and New Years. By adding a few vacation days up front, we usually end up getting a full 2-weeks off for Christmas break. (Other companies in the industry do similar.). We get Personal Business hours paid to take care of things that MUST be taken care of during work hours, but are expected to make those hours up by working Unpaid Overtime. True Sick Time is not expected to be made up, but if you abuse it you'll get "counselled" by your manager. All in all, it's a good plan and benefit we have here at LM.
