Training can be better. I feel like its more of a hurry up and catch up or get out kind of situation. Although, it can turnout to be a good thing but sometimes not.

The training was very hands on and standard if you are familiar with receiving duties. The only difference that was amazing (if you like being organized) was how they stock their merchandise. Everything has a place in the system and my trainers were well knowledgeable. Even if I felt like I didn't understand, Management and veteran employees always took their time to teach without any attitude.

Target makes sure to hand you to a team leader to find where u might fit best if one position does not fit you so they will cross train you in time in all the areas that u might need to know in the proccess of doing your job. Then again if u do too good of a job in knowing multiple areas watch out that you dont have a team leader that will give u multiple tasks to do that are impossible in the time allotted like mine did.

Not much is provided, it is dependent on the individual value placed by leadership in a given pyramid. On-going support for training, summits or attending conferences is very, very limited and requires lots of sign-off for approval. This this the first budget that is cut.

Very inconsistent. Depends on the department you're in. Entry level positions in Merchandising and Stores are excellent. Continuing education not so much,. Mid career training is non existent.
