Excellent coverage at very little cost

Covers nearly everything except in-vetro or fertility

For a top tier company, as USAA portrays itself as being, their overall health benefits are average at best. I would think a company of this stature would invest more into the employees with regard to healthcare.

They provide healthcare that is PPO and reasonable in cost. They also provide an additional amount for things like prescriptions and Co-pays.

Fitness plan where you end up getting some of your money in health premiums back.

Somewhat pricey. It's nice that it is pre-tax premiums, but I wishe they had an HSA and high-deductible health plan to further lower the premiums.

Since the switch to Humana as the Health Insurance manager, getting your medical benefits paid is a nightmare!

This benefit has a higher deductible but USAA provides 2250 per year on a debit card to assist with medical expenses. It has been very beneficial and Have had no out of pocket expenses as an employee. We have used the benefit frequently as well
