I receive a per class bonus and if I teach more than 45 classes a month, that bonus is doubled. I can work less than 25 hours a month and still get a bonus.

Their advertised pay scale is misleading because the per-class bonus is included in their advertised pay rate. If you teach >45 classes in a month you will make $2 extra per half-hour class. There is usually a monthly incentive for opening availability or teaching during their peak hours. Ongoing incentive available for recruiting new teachers, but the hiring process is highly selective, so the work it takes to recruit isn't worth it.

Pro:
- Over 45 classes taught you get a $1 for every class taught.
- Less than 45, you get $0.50 per class taught.
- Short notice booking you get extra $2.
Con:
- You miss a class with less than 2 hr notice, you get deducted $10.
- Teacher IT you don't get paid even if you taught the entire class.
- Cancellation without reason/ too many teacher ITs VIPKID will send you a warning email and they have the right to lock you cancel your classes.

It's okay but there aren't many chances to earn more besides their incentives (If you get referrals you will make more)
