You are awarded a performance bonus for arriving to class on time and for finishing each class. There are also different bonuses offered each month to help you increase your income. VIPKID also has multiple trip and material bonuses and provide raffles and incentives for you to achieve the different offerings.

Depending on how many hours to work, you get a $2 bonus per 25 minute class, which means that you can make up to $22 an hour. There are also different monthly bonuses each month. The bonuses are basically for showing up on time, and finishing teaching the class, so not sure if that would count as "performance based", but they're appreciated!
