I was referred for a role in the Customer Success team in Dublin. I had initial call with HR and then another call with one of the team managers and director of CSM - all based in Chicago. The manager that is supposed to be coming to Dublin couldn't make the interview. I found the questions fairly accessible, nothing too complicated, nothing too scary. My impression after the call was that I did well. But a couple of days later I received an email from HR advising that it was great to meet me but they wouldn't be going ahead with my candidacy. I replied asking for feedback as it would be very useful to know why they didn't think I was a good fit, but I haven't heard back. It's a pity, as I spent time preparing for the calls, researching the product, downloading the tool and of course dedicated time to interviews. I understand that they have to get back to a lot of candidates, but if the candidates come from referrals it would be a good practice if they at least got feedback.
