AFP & CVA Launch “Make Government Work” Campaign to Tackle Dysfunction in Washington Americans for Prosperity (AFP) and Concerned Veterans for America (CVA) just launched a major new initiative — Make Government Work — to push for accountability, transparency, and real results in Washington. The seven-figure campaign includes a new website, MakeGovernmentWork.com , and a nationwide effort to mobilize Americans who are tired of crisis-to-crisis governing and want leaders focused on solving problems. As AFP’s Kent Strang put it, “Washington’s constant shutdown threats and budget chaos hurt everyone. This campaign is about fixing that — with real reforms that restore accountability and force government to live within its means.” CVA’s John Vick added, “It’s time we righted the ship and stopped waste and dysfunction that hold back progress for all Americans.” Through Make Government Work, AFP and CVA are calling for practical, bipartisan solutions to streamline government, prevent shutdowns, and make sure power and decision-making stay close to the people.
